Export JSON configuration files
A user can export a JSON file from one Assetas account that can be imported into another Assetas account using the Data Import tool. This tool is intended for users to import files exactly as exported. Assetas does not support the process of importing JSON files that have been altered after being exported from another account.
The following records types are available for exporting as a JSON file for import into another account:
- Form Types
- Dashboard Templates
- Manufacturers and Models
- Reports
- Report Categories
- Scheduled Jobs
- Statuses of Assets, Contacts, Documents, and Tasks
- Types of Asset Associations, Assets, Contacts, Documents, Roles, Tasks, and Telemetry
- System-defined types can be exported. While the detailed information is defined within the system and cannot be updated, sections and attributes can be exported and imported to a different account. Attribute sections are matched by names, while attributes are matched by external identifiers.
